Week 12

 

This week’s challenge is to eat the rainbow. The goal is to have a minimum of 7  different types of fruit during the week. Scientifically a fruit is anything that has a seed. That’s right! That means we have been mislabeling some fruit as vegetables, like tomatoes, cucumbers, and eggplants.

 

Why are we doing this ?When choosing foods for preventing disease and achieving good health, it is important to remember that the overall diet & eating patterns are the most important factors. It is better to eat a diet rich in a variety of nutrient-dense foods than to concentrate on individual foods.
